Toolquip & Allied’s participation in the TDM Powered Apprenticeship Programme is an example of our investment in people for personal growth and strengthened group competitiveness, with specific focus on the South African tool manufacture industry. The Programme is driven by a consortium of community champions, manufacturing industry leaders and both local and international training partners, and is financed by grant funding from the Department of Labour.

The intention of the training is twofold: immediate job creation and long-term career advancement. Our graduates can work in the industry as machine attendants, line inspectors or product packers, as well as gain credits for further apprenticeship training down the line once employed.
